Memorial Weekend in Angel Fire NM

In Honor of those that have served our country, still serving and those that will serve I thank you.

New Additions to our Family

It has been a long two weeks but it has also been wonderful. First of all we have the wonderful joy of having three new puppies in out home. They have grown so much. Each has their own personality. Bowser the biggest of them all eats like he has never eaten before. His large white head just pushes his brothers over thus making him the biggest, and fatest. Samson is the middle one, he also is a fat boy. Him and bowser fight to get the best spot for food. He just scoots himself to get were he wants to go. The smallest one ( who is my favorite) Tyson is the only one that can stand on all four legs without falling. He is a mover. He likes to sleep a lot but moves a lot. Like I said before it has been wonderful having them here with us.

Christina although she would not admit it she loves having them too. She will come home and grab one of them and make them talk. Well talk for them, she is her own Doctor Doolittle. She says that her Cita used to do that for all the animals when she was younger and that is why she does it.

Farmer Pablo

These last couple of weeks I also have been trying to become the gardener of my household. I loosened the dirt and then dropped some fertilizer along with lots of water and then the grass seeds. It is coming up nice, I guess I do have some Latino in me LOL and for some odd reason my thumb has turned a light green.

Angel Fire NM

Finally this last weekend Christina and I went of to Angel Fire NM were the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is located at. This is an annual Motorcycle event for the Motorcycle association that I am in. This was our first year to be out there and it was great. Myself and my motorcycle brothers went up there Thursday morning and stayed till Monday afternoon. Christina had to work and come up on Friday evening. The weather was OK the first two days, it snowed, sleeted , and then rained. Only in NM do we get weather like this. Oh did I mention that that wind was also blowing about 45-50 miles and hour on the hill? On Saturday the weather began to cooperate with us and had sunny skies and hardly no wind. While we're up there we sell military hats shirts patches ect. We also donate 20% of our earnings to the memorial. We did awsome this year. You can tell how cold it was because Christina is wrapped in a blanket along with her vest and coat.

While we were up there my brothers asked me if I would let Christina Ride on a motorcycle. I did not answer the questions I showed them the answer. As you can see in these pictures say everything. I figured that my mother in Law would like these pictures of her daughter trying to get on a bike.

I guess God did not make my wife a rider ......just a back seat rider telling me Im going to fast or to slow down kind of like my guardian Angle on my back.

I would like to start a new thing. My sister Christina has her girls and all the funny things that they do in her BLOG. Well we do not have kids yet, but we do have a dog that is like our kid. Im going to call this the weekly gordies or the ADHD dog.

THE WEEKLY GORDIES

So here is the what happened on the weekly gordies she was gone for a while walking around the house like always. My brother Brendan was doing something so we would ask him how she was doing. His reply was she is laying on the floor. So we thought all was good. Little did we know that Brendan had left with out saying anything to us as he does a lot. The when we did not hear anything we went to check on her...she has a bad habit of jumping on the table and eating what she can. Well Christina had a bowl of bacon grease on the table and if you have not guessed it she ATE almost the hole thing. Lets just say Gorda stayed outside for three days cleaning her system out. And this has been the Weekly Gordies.
